Hello friend

 Formula of  Double Bond Equivalent (DBE) is = ∑n(v-2)/2+1

n=number of atom

v=valency of atom

EXAMPLE-
C3H6O

DBE=3(4-2)+6(1-2)+1(2-2)/2+1

=0+1

=1

Hope it will help you

thanks,

Hey there,

Double bond equivalent=
∑n(v-2)/2+1

n=number of atom
v=valency of atom

Eg-C₄H₆

DBE=4(4-2)+6(1-2)/2+1
=1+1
=2

PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST IF HELPFUL!!!
