Barium chloride react with sulfuric acid to form barium sulfate and hydrochloric acid .

BaCl₂ + H₂SO₄ ⇒ BaSO₄ + HCl

Type of Double displacement Reaction are :

Precipitation reaction :

When one part form as solid product .

For example :

Pb ( NO₃ )₂ + KI ⇒ PbI₂ ↓  + 2 KNO₃

Neuralization reaction :

When acid - base react to each other and forms salt and water .

Example :

HCl + NaOH ⇒  NaCl  +  H₂O
