Here is ur answer....

After pollination occurs, the pollen grain germinates. It produces a pollen tube which grows through the style and reaches the micropyle of ovule. The two male nucleic descend through the pollen tube and are released in the ovule, one male nucleic fuses with the egg to form zygote and this is called syngamy. The other male nucleus fuses with the polar nucleic to form endosperm and this is called triple fusion. Since, fusion takes place twice , this is known as DOUBLE FERTILISATION....

Hope it helps you....

Plz mark it as BRAINLIEST....

Double fertilization involves two steps :-

1. Syngamy

2. Triple fusion

Syngamy ⇒ During the fertilization in flowering plants pollen tube releases two male gametes & it moves towards the egg cell and fuses with the nucleus to form diploid zygote.

Triple fusion ⇒ The other male gametes move towards the two polar nuclei located in the central cell & fuses with it & produce triploid primary endosperm nucleus.

This is called double fertilization.
