Pollen gain adhers stigma then pollen tube form.. Mail gametofite devide and form 2 sperms... They flow by pollen tube and enter ovule..
In chalazal end there are 1egg and 2 synergids.. One sperm fuse the egg.. 1 st fertilization occurs.
In the middle of ovule there are poler nuclei. Its 2n..another sperm fuse it.. And here 2 nd fertilization occurs...
This 2 times fertilization is together called double fertilization. And when polar nuclei fuse with sperm. It becomes 3n.it call tripple fusion...

The main difference between double fertilization and triple fusion is that double fertilization is the fusion of the embryo sac with two sperm cells whereas triple fusion is the fusion of sperm nucleus with the two polar nuclei in the central cell of the embryo sac.
