drought quadrilateral

➡Sometimes, the Northeast area of Brazil is also known as the drier region or the Drought Quadrilateral Region. Except the Northeast region of the Brazil, other regions of the country has a humid tropical and subtropical climate.

Much of the Brazil receives 1000-1800 mm of precipitation in a year but the drought Polygon area receives only 375-750 mm of precipitation.

Hope it helps you:)
