dry ice is also known as solid carbon dioxide if the pressure under which it is stored decreases to 1 atm( atmosphere) there can be no possible change observed but it is very dangerous to touch it with bare hands as it can create a burning sensation on your skin layer hope it helps..

As solid carbon dioxide is termed as dry ice as when its pressure undee which it is stored is decreased to 1 atmosphere then it changes its state directly from solid to gas without changing into liquid or vice versa it is also v. harmful to touch as a burning sensation u can feel
