It is easier to move a box which is already in motion then to move it from rest because when th box is in motion its net speed working on it is more ,so it is easier to move a box which is already in motion .

The contact points on the box's surface do not have enough time to latch into the contact points on the floor once it begins to slide. As a result, the static friction is a little less than the sliding friction. As a result, it is somewhat simpler to move the box once it starts moving than to start it.

The distance travelled by a body in a unit of time is referred to as its velocity. The concept of velocity refers to a vector quantity that indicates both the magnitude and the direction of a body's motion. Therefore, we may determine the direction of motion of a body from its velocity.

The rate of change in an object's velocity per unit of time is now known as acceleration. The particle's speed rises over time in the direction of the acceleration. Again, the body goes on a circular path if acceleration is perpendicular to the direction of velocity. Therefore, acceleration can also indicate a body's motion direction.
