An ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment like things air, water and mineral soil etc these are interacting as a system. Ecosystems are of any size, but usually they are in particular places. Each organism has a role to play and contributes to the health and productivity of the ecosystem as a whole.

ecosystems is very important to do many things like to purify the air so we can breathe properly, cycle the nutrients so we have access to clean drinking water without costly infrastructure.

We Can protect the ecosystem by planting the tress. And don't send chemicals into our waterways, And Conserve water etc.. By through this we can protect the ecosystem.
