Where subscript 1 stands for source and 2 for sink. Temperature has fundamental unit as Kelvin so you need to convert °C to K. ... from the concepts of thermodynamic ,engine efficiency is 91.74% in an ideal condition (carnot engine) .it may be differ for diesel or petrol engine.

Hey! Here is ur answer...
Efficiency (eta) is given in terms of both temperature and heat that is :
Eta = 1 - (T2/T1) = 1 - (Q2/Q1)
Where subscript 1 stands for source and 2 for sink.
Temperature should be in Kelvin so you have to convert °C to K.
T1 = 327 + 273 = 600 K
T2 = 27 + 273 = 300 K
So,
Eta = 1 - (300/600) = 1 - 0.5 = 0.5 = 50%
