Electronegativity is the chemical property of any substance which describes the tendency of the atom. It also depends on the atomic number and the distance of the valence electrons from the nucleus.

sandysana: Electronegativity does not depends on atomic number
Anish004: It depends Sometimes
Anish004: U can check anywhere it's in my notebook
sandysana: but i studied like that only
Anish004: It may happen.....but I checked on net also it's there like this only and also in book it's like this only......
Anish004: Though both are correct in the answer
