The method for solving systems of equations, we transform the system such that one variable "cancels out".
Step 1

: Add or subtract a multiple of one equation to (or from) the other equation, in such a way that either the x-terms or the y-terms cancel out.
Step 2 : Then solve for x or y, whichever's left and substitute back to get the other coordinate.

IT IS A METHOD TO SOLVE A LINEAR EQ BY ELIMINATING A VARIABLE x OR y.
FOR THIS  METHOD WE SHOULD HAVE SAME CO EFFICIENT FOR x OR y OF THE TWO EQS , IF IT IS NOT EQUAL MULTIPLY ONE OF THE EQ TO MAKE IT EQUAL.
IF WE WANT TO ELIMINATE y VARIABLE THEN WE SHOULD CHECK  WHETHER SIGN OF THE CO EFFICIENT IS THE SAME OR NOT IF IT IS SAME SUBTRACT ONE FROM OTHER IF IT IS NOT SAME ADD.
THEN WE CAN GET VALUE OF ONE VARIABLE .
THEN SUBSTITUTE THIS VALUE IN ANY ONE OF THE EQUATIONS.SO WE CAN GET VALUE OF OTHER.
