Eosinophilia is a chronic disorder and it results from excessive production of a particular type of white blood cells known as 'eosinophils'. Eosinophils are produced in the bone marrow which helps the body fight infection from parasitic organisms. They contain proteins that help the body fight infection from parasitic organisms.
