Development of dicot Embryo:

-the zygote divides transversely to form a two-celled proembryo. The cell towards the micropyle is known as the basal cell and the other is known as terminal cell. The zygotes divides transversely to form a two-celled proembryo.

Difference of dicot embryo and monocot embryo:

Monocot and dicot differ in their roots, stem, leaves, flowers and seeds. Their main difference is that MONOCOT contains a single cotyledon in its embryo while dicot contains two cotyledons in its embryo.
