We neither know the smallest number, nor know the largest number.
(In some cases, we know the smallest number,for e.g natural. and whole number but not the smallest of any other number except these).
We have just represented the largest number as + infinity and smallest number as minus infinity.
We don't know that number that's why we have just assumed a symbol of infinity.
Interesting fact= The product of all the existing numbers of the universe is 0.
