Endocytosis is a hard covering of epithelial tissue and because it has many layers and it is termed as colloidal epithelium and stratified colloidal epithelium and it is only found in animal because it animals required to move and search for food and shelter but plan doesn't move and they do not need food and shelter so plant does not have the endocytosis

endocytosis is the phenomenon by which the cell engulfs the surrounding substances. It also called "cell eating" process. The cell extends its protoplasm in the direction of the substance, surrounds it and cell membrane is reformed around the substance which is now inside. Animal cells are able to exhibit this phenomenon because the cell membrane is non rigid and is able to change its shape

Meanwhile, in Plant cells, the presence of cell wall makes it impossible to exhibit endocytosis. This is because the cell wall is a rigid structure and cannot change its shape.
