Endothermic reaction:-Those reaction in which heat is absorbed are considered as endothermic reactions.

E.g-sunlight + 6CO2(g) + H2O(l) = C6H12O6(aq) + 6O2(g)

Exothermic reactions:-Those reactions in which heat is evolved are considered as exothermic reactions.

E.g- C+O2--> CO2 + Heat

Hope it helps

Explanation:

endothermic reaction : the reaction in which heat is absorbed to by reactant is called endothermic reaction .....

ex..

calcium carbonate is required to be heated to break down into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide .

exothermic reaction :: the reaction in which the heat energy is released after the reaction is called exothermic reaction ..

ex...carbon is heated in the presence of O2 to produce the carbon dioxide with large amount of heat energy...
