What is Equality of opportunity in matters of public employment?

Equality of opportunity in public employment is a basic fundamental right which is written in the constitution of India and it gives guarantee to every citizen of the India of doing and opting jobs in public sector. In simple terms every citizen of the country should have an equal opportunity in matters of employment to any office under the state government without discriminating on grounds of caste, sex, religion and etc. Article 16 of the Indian constitution deals with this matter.
