Eutrophication is the excessive richness of nutrients in a lake or a water body. This excessive richness of nutrients causes a dense growth of plant life and could result in depletion of the of the oxygen content of the water body.
The different consequences that take an impact on the aquatic animals and plant life are..
-The oxygen content is decreased so that way fish die. This is a common problem in eutrophication.
-This nutrients that form can be a huge problem and can disturb the entire food chain if any of them(aquatic animals) feed on them.
