what is evaporation?
Answers
Heyaaaaa
Here is your answer
The process by which a liquid is converted to gas at its boiling point is called evaporation.
The factors affecting evaporation are:
Surface area = Surface area is directly proportional to evaporation. The more surface area, the rate of evaporation increases.
Temperature= Temperature is directly proportional to evaporation. The higher the temperature is the rate of evaporation increases.
Humidity= Humidity is inversely proportional to evaporation. When the amount of moisture in the air (humidity) Is more then the rate of evaporation decreases.
Wind speed= When the wind is flowing faster then the rate of evaporation increases. Thus, Wind speed is directly proportional to evaporation
