The factors affecting evaporation are:

Surface area = Surface area is directly proportional to evaporation. The more surface area, the rate of evaporation increases.

Temperature= Temperature is directly proportional to evaporation. The higher the temperature is the rate of evaporation increases.

Humidity= Humidity is inversely proportional to evaporation. When the amount of moisture in the air (humidity) Is more then the rate of evaporation decreases.

Wind speed= When the wind is flowing faster then the rate of evaporation increases. Thus, Wind speed is directly proportional to evaporation
