1. Evaporation is the process of a substance in a liquid state changing to a gaseous state due to an increase in temperature and/or pressure. It is a fundamental part of the water cycle and is constantly occurring throughout nature.

2. Many factors affect evaporation:

  • Temperature.
  • Surface area of the liquid exposed to the atmosphere.
  • Wind speed.
  • Humidity.

Answer:-

\huge\boxed{\red{Evaporation}}

The Phenomenon of change of liquid of liquid into vapours at at any temperature below the boiling point of liquid is called Evaporation.

It causes cooling.

\boxed{\pink{Factors \:  Effecting \: Rate \: of \: Evaporation}}

Surface Area:- The rate of Evaporation increases on increasing Surface Area.

Speed of Wind:- The rate of Wind increases of speed is high.

Temperature:- The rate of Evaporation increases if temperature increases.

Humidity:- When the humidity in air is low then the rate of Evaporation is high.
