what is even prime number

A prime number is a number that is exactly divisible only by the number itself and ‘1’. {eg. 5, 7, 23 etc}
When a number is even,it is obviously divisible by 2.
So,apart from the number and 1, an even number is divisible by 2. so it remains a prime number no more.
But 2 is the number which is divisible only by 2 and 1.
Despite being an even number, 2 is a prime number for this reason.
Hope this helps.
