That is why the conservation of these resources are important in today's world or else the future generations will not be able to use them. They also take thousands of years to get regenerated. Example - minerals.

There are two types of Natural Resources:(a) Exhaustible Natural Resources (b) Inexhautible Natural Resources
(a) Exhaustible Natural Resources-The resources which are limited in the nature can be exhausted very soon by human activities are called Exhaustible Natural Resources.For example- forests, coal, petroleum, minerals, wildlife and natural gas.
(b) Inexhaustible Natural Resources- The resources which are present in unlimited quantity in naturea nd are not likely to be exhausted by human activities are called Inexhaustible Natural Resources.For example- air, soil, sunlight.
