Exothermic reaction is the reaction in which heat is evolved with products .
examples are are respiration , burning of fossil fuels and decomposition of vegetables .

exothermic reactions are the reactions in which heat is not evolved with products . examples are when silver chloride kept in sunlight to form silver and chlorine , when Silver Bromide is kept in sunlight to form silver and bromine , etc.

hope it helps.

Hello Dost ☺

Answer :

Exothermic reaction and endothermic reaction:

On the basis of energy changes during chemical reaction, they can be classified as

i) Exothermic reaction: A chemical reaction in which heat energy is produced.

Eg : C + O2 → CO2 (g) + heat

ii) Endothermic reaction: A chemical reaction in which heat energy is absorbed.

Eg : CaCO3 + Heat → CaO + CO2

Thanks ☺
