see during respiration when glucose is broken down to CO2 and energy then on cristae there is a particle present on the wall of the mitochondria then that particle is divided into two parts F2 AND F2.
F1 is the particle present in the base and F2 particle is the top part which afterwards rotates and produces ATP.
Now question arises why plants convert NADH2 to ATP why don't they is it directly like they use ATP so the ANSWER IS- plants do not want to use it bcs a reaction can takes place.

1. NADH2 breaks into NAD+ and H+ these H+ are transported by electron transport chain and electrons are also carried then electron goes to F0 particle.
2. That F1 particle gets energy and make F1 particle rotates and this is how ADP reacts with H+ ions and e- to make ATP which is further used during photosynthesis and respiratorion.
