factorisation can be done by three methods :
splitting the middle term
completing the square
cross multiplication method
identities formula :
(a+b)²= a²+2ab+b²
(a-b)²=a²-2ab+b²
a²-b²=(a+b) (a-b) and so on.......

IDENTITIES An identity is an equality that holds true regardless of the values chosen for its variables. They are used in simplifying or rearranging algebra expressions.
