What is federalism? how is it mainaining democracy?

Federalism is the division or sharing of powers among the different levels of computer.

It is helpful in many ways:

(1). As it give quality decisions because of specialized members of different fields.

(2). As population is very high people are to be governed on different platforms.

(3). It does not allow any single person or community to oppress the people which is the main motive of democracy.
