Fertilization is basically termed as the fusion of male and female gamete.
It can be either inside the mother body or outside the mother body .
It is of 2 types :
• intrinsic fertilization :-
It takes place inside the mother body . Example: human beings .
• Extrinsic fertilization :-
It takes place outside the mother body . Example: frog .
