The forefinger, the middle finger and the thumb of the right hand are held in the three mutually perpendicular directions and if the forefinger points along the direction of the magnetic field and the thumb is along the direction of motion of the conductor, then the middle finger points in the direction of the induced current.
--------------------------------------------------
this rule is used for generators which generates current , the rule is helpful in finding the direction of the induced current in the generator

Answer:

The behaviour of a conductor moving in a magnetic field, according to which the directions of the magnetic field, the induced current, and the motion of the conductor are indicated respectively by the first finger, second finger, and thumb of the right hand when these are held out mutually perpendicular to each other.

Hope it helps you.
