A food addiction or eating addiction is a behavioral addiction that is characterized by the compulsive consumption of palatable (e.g., high fat and high sugar) foods .

It is not that much difficult if you follow a proper balanced diet ,proper exercises ,you can break it easily .

A food addiction might also be the result of psychological factors. ... Lastly, there are social implications that may be involved with food addiction, including factors such as disturbances in family function, pressure from peers or society, social isolation, child abuse, lack of social support, and stressful life events.

it can cause obesity and diabetes in humans. excessive eating of a particular food can lead to various diseases such as sleep disorder, fatigue, malnutrition, laziness or even heart related deseases.

psychological causes of food addiction include anxiety, panic attacks, anger if the person is restricted from eating that food, numbness, depression or even suicidal feeling.
