Volume of a Cube = (a x a x a)  where a is the side of cube .

volume of cuboid =  Volume of a cuboid = (length × breadth × height) .

surface area of cube = (6a2 )  where a is the side of cube .

surface area of cuboid =  2( length*breadth + breadth*height + height*length)

Volume is a factor that measures the capacity of an object and surface area is a factor that measures the arear enclosed by it.

Volume of an object can be given by multiplying all of its dimensions. Both cube and cuboid are 3D figures. Such that their respective volumes would be, V_1=a^3\\V_2=lbh

For cube, a is the measure of its side. For cuboid, l, b and h are its dimensions (length, breadth and height).

For any object, surface area is the addition of all of the area of its faces.

Both have six faces, then for cube and cuboid,

Total surface area of a cube = 2(l×l + l×l + l×l)

= 2(l^2 + l^2 + l^2)\\ = 2(3l^2)\\ = 6l^2

For a cuboid, each face has a equivalent face opposite to it, Such that

TSA of cuboid = l×b + l×b + b×h + b×h + l×h + l×h

= 2 (lb + bh + lh)
