What is french dilemma of education. Explain it and tell me the right answer please don't give spam reply. Elaborate in worth 5 marks.

French took for granted that Europe had developed the most advanced civilization. So it became the duty of the Europeans to introduce these modern ideas to the colony even at this meant destroying cultures, religions and traditions, because these were seen as outdated and prevented modern development.
Problems :
(1) The French needed an educated local labour force but they feared that education might create problems.
(2) Once educated, the Vietnamese may begin to question colonial domination.
(3) Moreover, French citizens living in Vietnam began fearing that they might lose their jobs¬–as teachers, shopkeepers, policemen to the educated Vietnamese. So they opposed policies that would give the Vietnamese full access to French Education.

the French hotel at it was the responsibility of the European countries to bring the Civilization to the uncivilized countries
so they thought to educate the Vietnamese people
wanted a educated labour force

but they fear that if they would be educated they would question the colonial dominance and moreover colonial people living in the Vietnam was fear that they would lose their jobs as teachers police University lecturers etc.

so at last they decide to give the education to the people and at last deliberately failing them in the school leaving examination so they could not be able to qualify for the white collar jobs

one more dilemma that in which language the people should be taught if they wanted to dismantle the influence of the Chinese Culture by removing the Chinese as a medium of instruction . there were two broad opponents found in it that is some favoured for the a French as the medium of instructions
Where as some told that at the lower level the education medium of instruction should be wit Nami is at the higher level the video of instruction should be french and those who acquired French language should be given with a french citizenship
