What is frequency array? Explain with example.

an array of frequencies according to variate values, which is called the frequency distribution. term "array" is often used for the individual frequency distributions which form the separate rows and columns of a bivariate table.

Frequency array:  

In this kind of array, there is no class interval with a particular range of data item. Instead, there is a data item with their exact values and corresponding frequency. Surely, we use this when the data collected is very small.

Example: A survey of 100 households was carried out to obtain information on their size, i.e., the number of members of household. The result of the surveys is categorized as a frequency array in table below:
