2) kinetic friction :- friction which act in moving body is called kinetic friction .

where μ is coffecient of friction .

and N is Normal act on body .

1)Friction is said to be an opposition force that resists the movement of any sliding body

2)It is due to electromagnetic attraction between charged particles in two touching surfaces.

3)John Walker dicovered the friction and later Leonardo Da Vinci rediscovered this phenomena with two basic laws of friction.

4)There are basically 4 types of friction=>>

A)Static Friction

=>It is the friction that exists between the stationary body and the surface on which it is resting.

B)Rolling Friction

=>It is the friction that exists between the sliding body and the surface on which it is sliding but when sliding friction is acting there must be another force existing to keep the body moving.

C)Sliding Friction

=>It is the Friction that resists the rolling of any object on the surface.It is also called rolling resistance.

D)Fluid Friction

=>It is also called drag force that is experienced by bodies that are in motion inside water or in air.

5) Rolling Friction is the weakest friction.
