what is frictional force ??
Answers
Frictional force or (force of friction)
A ball rolling along the ground gradually slows down and finally comes to rest. We find no. of visible force appears to be acting on the ball, yes it's speed gradually decreases and finally comes to rest after some time. What causes in a change in the state of the motion of the ball ? Is there any force acting on the ball to slow it down that gradually Stops it ? In which direction must this force be acting ? This is a force of friction. The force of Friction acting between the surface of the ball and ground that opposes the motion of the ball, brings the moving ball to rest. The force acting along the two surfaces in the contact which opposes the motion of one Object over other is called the force of friction.
Frictional force always opposes the motion of the moving object.
This force of Friction is due to the the roughness of the surfacces of the objects in contact. The more is the roughness of the object, the more the force of Friction between them.
Answer:
Frictional force refers to the force generated by two surfaces that contacts and slide against each other. These forces are mainly affected by the surface texture and amount of force impelling them together. The angle and position of the object affect the amount of frictional force.
