Gondwana, was a supercontinent that existed from the Neoproterozoic until the Jurassic. It was formed by the accretion of several cratons. Eventually, Gondwana became the largest piece of continental crust of the Paleozoic Era, covering an area of about 100,000,000 km².

Gondwana Land was an ancient supercontinent that is believed to have existed in the southern hemisphere and have resulted by the breaking up of the ancient supercontinent Pangea.

it comprises of modern day - arabia ,africa,south america,australia,antarctica and indian peninsula
