GENETIC DRIFT:-When the frequency of some genes gets changed in a small population due to some accidental reasons, such phenomenon is known as Genetic DriftGenetic drift can give rise to different changes in sub-populations. It is random and rarely produces adaptations to the environment.
natural selection -allows frequencies change by differential reproductive success

variation in the relative frequency of different genotypes in a small population owing to chance disappearance of particular genes as individuals die or do not reproduce is known as genetic drift.

Natural selection allows frequencies change by differential reproductive success. it is the process by which the most adaptive traits for an environment become more common generation by generation.
