Global Warming is the effect on our planet. It only has negative effects towards living things. It causes the Earth's average temperature to increase. It makes weather more severe, horrible storms, more hurricanes. It will melt the polar caps, increasing the water level. That submerges most costal cities. Also, more flooding happens, which make thing worse. World-wide damage, many deaths, extinctions everywhere and it will cause us to go extinct if we don't do anything about it.
When we burn fossil fuels, or coal, we emit carbon dioxide into the air. That makes clouds that bounce back heat onto our planet. Making asphalt causes carbon dioxide to escape into the air. Driving most cars also contributes to that. There are many things that cause this, and we need to be together in this to end our own self-destruction.
I hope this helps!
