→ defective Genes of some organisms are modified by correction or replacement this method is known as gene therapy.

best example of GMO is BT cotton ,

genetically modified food such as IR-8 , jaya , ratna..ect are variety of Rice.

these crops are rich in iron and vitamins.

many other fruits are also cultured by this techniques to increas..source of vitamins and minerals in our diet.
