AnsweRs : -

1.)Gravitational potential energy changes into kinetic energy. The equation for gravitational potential energy is GPE = mgh, where m is the mass in kilograms, g is the acceleration due to gravity (9.8 on Earth), and h is the height above the ground in meters.

example \: -

a pen being held above a table has a higher gravitational potential than a pen sitting on the table.

2.)Elastic potential energy is Potential energy stored as a result of deformation of an elastic object, such as the stretching of a spring. It is equal to the work done to stretch the spring, which depends upon the spring constant k as well as the distance stretched.

example -

The coil spring of a wind-up clock. An archer's stretched bow.

3.)Translational kinetic energy is the kinetic energy an object has due to its motion in a straight line from one from one place to another place.

example -

Motion of bullet fired from a gun and expanding of galaxies .

4.)The Potential energy gained by an object due to the virtue of its rotation is called rotational potential energy. As we know for translational motion the potential energy is the energy stored.

example -

let us calculate the rotational kinetic energy of the Earth (animated in Figure 1 ). As the Earth has a period of about 23.93 hours, it has an angular velocity of 7.29×10−5 rad/s. The Earth has a moment of inertia, I = 8.04×1037 kg·m2. Therefore, it has a rotational kinetic energy of 2.138×1029 J.

5.)An object that has motion - whether it is vertical or horizontal motion - has kinetic energy.Vibrational kinetic energy is the kinetic energy an object has due to its vibrational motion.

example -

Cell phone that vibrates when it is ringing and vibration of a drum when it is hit by a hammer are some examples of vibrational kinetic energy.
