the earth excerts some force on objects and human beings that's why we doesn't fell down when the earth rotates around the sun this is commonly called as gravitational force

Gravity is defined as a natural phenomenon by which all the things are pulled towards each other.

It is an attraction that exists between two bodies, masses or particles, everywhere in the universe.  

It also makes the things fall.

The heavier is the mass of an object, more is the gravity.
