Scientist took a big glass room (completely closed) and the planted some trees inside that glass . That glass enclosure was known as Green house.
They observed there is certain gases inside which are responsible for increase in the temperature of the Room.
They named it as greenhouse gas.
ex.co2,co,CFC etc.
