green revolution is the introduction of modern farming methods such as HIV seeds. it was introduced in 1980's and had a good impact on rural development . it increased the production rate in India . it has some disadvantages too . it reduces the fertility of the soil , pollutes underground water etc. it also includes fertilizers and pesticides .
