Gymnosperms are plants which have naked seeds. They are primitive and simple kind of plants. These are perennial, woody, and evergreen. Sporophylls are aggregate to form cones. Xylem lack vessels.
Eg:-- pinus and cycas

Angiosperms are highly evolved plants and they produce seeds that are enclosed in a fruit. The have flowers and are also called flowering plants. Plants embroys in seed have structure called cotyledons. Based on number of cotyledons it can be monocot or dicot.
