Haloalkanes are saturated hydrocarbons having the functional group, halogens.
Example: CH3Cl, C2H5Br etc.
Example: CH3Cl, C2H5Br etc.

HEY FOLK....
As per name suggests , haloalkanes consist of halo(halogen) + alkanes , i.e. haloalkaes are the alkanes (saturated hydrocarbons) which have one or more halogen groups( F , Cl , Br , I ) attachted to it.
Some examples are:-
→ Fluoromethane CH3—F
→ Chloromethane CH3—Cl
→ Difluoromethane (Methylene fluoride) F—CH2—F
and most important "etc" :D
