WHAT is haploid and diploid???


Zara51: when single nucleus is there in an egg is called haploid egg....and when two nuclues in there in an egg!!!

heya.......

cells with two sets are diploid, and those with one set are haploid. Indiploid organisms, such as humans, the haploid cells are used only for the sex cells for reproduction, while the rest of the cells are diploid.
