☆ . Heart is called pumping station in human body .

☆ . Heart is divided into 4 parts by grooves

1. 2 upper parts called" atria ".

2. 2 lower parts are called " ventricles ".


☆ . 2 atria are separated from " inter - atriolar septum ". and right left ventricles are separeted from inter - ventricular septum .


☆ . Inter atriolar septum and Inter vantricles septum prevent mixing of oxygenated blood in right side .


☆ . The heart with oxygenated blood in the left side of the heart .

☆ . Ventricles walls are thicker than the atrial walls .


☆ . The largest artery is aorta which can comes froms left ventricle .

☆ . aorta supplies blood to all the body parts except lungs .

☆ . Pulmonary artery that comes from right ventricle it carries deoxygenated blood to lungs .


☆ . Right atrium and Right ventricle are connected to each other by right atrioventricular aperture .

☆ . Left atrium and left ventricle are connected to each other by left atrioventricular aperture.

☆ . Tricuspid valve gaurd the righr auriculoventricular aperture and bicuspid valve guard the left atrioventricular aperture .



☆ . Blood from the anterior parts of the body is called by superior venacava which opens into right atrium .


☆ . Blood from the posterior parts of the body is collected by inferior venacava or post caval vein which also opens into right atrium .


☆ . Coronary arteries supply blood to the muscles of the heart whereas coronary veins collect blood from the heart it also open into right atrium .
