it's a formula by which u can calculate the area of a triangle without its height.
for eg:
let the three sides of triangle be a,b and c
so by heron formula,

Heron's Formula is another Formula for calculating area of triangle. The triangle needn't to be a right angled... If there is measurements of all three side then it is easy to find area of the triangle by Heron's Formula.

Heron's Formula is :

Area of triangle =  \sqrt{s*(s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c)}

Where a,b and c are three sides of a triangle

and 's' is sum of all three side divided by 2

i.e  s=\frac{a+b+c}{2}
