Hi,

Answer:

Heron's Formula:
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
This formula is used for calculating Area of

triangle with different sides and angles. It is

named after Hero of Alexandria.

Somewhere it is written as Hero's Formula.

Let us take a triangle ABC,having side length

a,b and c.

AB = a

BC = b

AC = c

having different angles  \alpha \: \: \: \beta \: \: \: and \: \: \: \: \: \gamma

Semi-perimeter S  = \frac{a + b + c}{2} \\

ar(ABC)
 = \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)} \\ {m}^{2} \: \: or \: {cm}^{2}
Application:

It is used to calculate area of triangle when

different and angles are present.

In right angle triangle ,area can be calculated

easily by. 1/2 height x base.

hope this helps .

\mathit{\underline{\large{Heron's\:\: Formula:}}}

This formula is used for calculating Area of triangle with different sides

the name Heron's taken from the name :\mathit{\underline{ Hero \:\:of \:\:Alexandria}}.

Now, the Heron's formula is:- \mathit{\boxed{\boxed{area \:\: of \:\: triangle = \sqrt{S(S - a)(S - b)(S - c)}}}}

where, a , b , c are the sides of the triangle

And " S " is semi - perimeter

for finding the valua of

S = (a + b + c)/2

it's unit is cm² , m²

Hope this help you
