Hi,

Heterogeneous equilibrium involves substances in different states. The position of heterogeneous equilibrium does not depend on the amount of pure solid and liquid present.

hope it helps....

when the reagents and the product are found in different states of matter it is call a heterogeneous equilibrium.

e.g. - ionic compound which partially dissolves in water is said to have heterogeneous equilibrium
