Hibernation is a deep sleep that helps them to save energy and survive the winter without eating much.
Aestivation or estivation refers to the positional arrangement of the parts of a flower within a flower bud before it has opened.

Ground squirrels, chip munks and other small mammals that can lower their body temperature far enough are true hibernators.Hibernation is animal sleep to escape cold weather during winter. During winter During this period, animal's body temperature drops, Herat beat, breathing and metabolic rate slows down to conserve energy. Aestivation:- Summer sleep:- Frogs, salamanders and other amphibians are examples that aesrivate (usually to escape drought conditions). Aestivation is animal sleep in hot and dry season that is Summer It is also characterized by lower metabolic rate and reduced activities.
